Einen alten Baumbestand - rein kommerziellen - Interessen zu opfern und nicht ernsthaft zu versuchen, Alternativen zu entwickeln, ist rückwärtsgewandte Politik von der wir uns endgültig verabschieden sollten!

Deutsche Umwelthilfe - Hitzecheck

RADIO KÖLN, Veröffentlicht: Sonntag, 22.06.2025 10:27 Zum zweiten Mal hat die Organisation (Deutsche Umwelthilfe) jetzt in 190 deutschen Städten den Hitzecheck gemacht...Köln liegt im Mittelfeld und bekommt von der DUH eine Gelb Karte. Bäume und Bepflanzung insgesamt würde die Umgebungstemperatur deutlich senken...Deshalb fordert die Organisation eine verbindliche Regelung für die Begrünung von Grundstücken. Denn in immer heißer werdenden Sommern sei das der wirksamste Hitzeschutz.

Es gibt nachvollziehbare Argumente auf beiden Seiten (Hitzeschutz, Asphaltierung, etc.) Daher kann ich diese Petition nicht unterschreiben.

Bitte Bebauungsplan anschauen! Als Reaktion auf Bürger-Einwürfe von 2020 wurden Pläne angepasst. 8 der großen Bäume bleiben, 4 davon in der F-G-Str + 28 neue Bäume + neue Grünflächen. Ich kann verstehen, dass sich einige Anwohner eine andere Entwicklung gewünscht hätten. Aber es gibt massiven Wohnungsmangel in Köln. Hier enstehen 430 neue Wohneinheiten (30% gefördert), der neue Plan sieht toll aus! Umweltschutz ja bitte, aber nicht als Pseudoargument, um lokal Wohnbau zu blockieren.

Es gibt nachvollziehbare Argumente auf beiden Seiten (Wohnraumknappheit -ist sozialer Wohnraum geplant?- die Autos sollen von dr Straße- pro für Tiefgarage,etc.). Daher kann ich diese Petition nicht unterschreiben.

Wem beim nächsten Sturm ein Hauptast von einer Platane auf den Kopf fällte weis dann warum diese Bäume weg müssen, nur wird er seine Erkenntnis nicht mehr weitergeben können! Auf dem Gürtel krachen bei Sturm regelmäßig Platanenäste runter gefährden den Verkehr und reißen Oberleitungen runter! Die Bäume sind einfach morsch!
