Die Stadt Bielefeld hat einen Schulwegplan. https://t1p.de/schulwegplanbielefeld . Er zeigt die empfohlenen Gehwege und die Gefahrenstrecken. Dies ist eine gute Grundlage, auf der die Straßenverkehrsbehörde mit den Schulen und Schulpflegschaften die Schulwegstrecken für Tempo 30 bestimmen kann.

Kinderunfälle gehen kaum zurück

In Bielefeld sind im letzten Jahr 98 Kinder (0 bis 14 Jahre) im Straßenverkehr verunglückt. - 2024 waren es 99 Kinder - 2023 waren es 106 - 2022 waren es 98 - 2021 waren es 96 - 2020 waren es 91. Es fehlt ein deutlicher Rückgang. Es reicht nicht, von den Kindern ein verkehrssicheres Verhalten zu verlangen. Zusätzlich müssen Erwachsene für ein sicheres Umfeld der Kinder sorgen.

Wo gilt zur Zeit welche Höchstgeschwindigkeit?

Die Stadtverwaltung führt leider keine Karte, wo genau bisher in Bielefeld Tempo 30 oder Tempo 50 gilt. Das ist wichtig, um die Schulwegsicherheit zu beurteilen. Die beste verfügbare Datengrundlage liefert die openstreetmap; z.B. über die Auswertung Max Speed Overpass (s. Quelle)
