Am 20.Februar haben die Briten die letzten Kasernenflächen zurückgegeben. An dem Tag haben Demonstranten an der Detmolder Straße gefordert: Jetzt soll auf der Fläche ein Stadtviertel für gut 5000 Bewohner entstehen! Dagegen wäre eine Ausbildungsstätte für die Bundespolizei, wie sie kolportiert wird, in Stieghorst falsch platziert.
