Das Metropol ist einer der Traditionsreichsten Kinosäle der Stadt - wieso sollte man so ein Traditionsort der Kultur in eine Kletterhalle umwandeln?

Das Metropol ist mehr wie nur Kino. Es geht darum, wer über die Kulturstätten in Stuttgart bestimmt. In die Reihe von Theater, Oper, Konzerthäuser gehören eben auch Kinos. WIr brauchen in einer Landeshaupstadt Spielorte, an denen Premieren und Festivals stattfinden können. Das Metropol ist dafür bestens geschaffen und hat sich über die Jahre bewehrt, verschiedene Filmfestivals zu beherbergen. Mehr infos findet man auch unter.. Der Eigentümer, die Union Investment spielt offensichtlich mit gezinkten Karten und sieht auch kein Problem darin, die Stadt und ihre Bevölkerung hinter das Licht zu führen.

Nach fast einem Jahr Kultur-Lockdown dürfte doch jedem Halbwegsinteressierten klar geworden sein, was Kultur wert ist.
