Schavan, Doktortitelentzug, Plagiat

Wenn der Finanzminister einer Steuerhinterziehung überführt worden ist, soll er dann dagegen klagen? Bundesbildungsministerin Annette Schavan hat ihre Dissertation mit vorsätzlicher Täuschung plagiiert. Bewiesen nach sorgfältiger Prüfung durch den Fakultätsrat der Uni Düsseldorf mit eindeutigem Ergebnis zum Entzug ihres Doktortitels. Schavans Klage vor Gericht gegen die Entscheidung der autarken Hochschule ist ein "sinnloses Unterfangen".

Ex-Dr. Annette Schavan hat heute gegen 14h ihren Rücktritt Bundesbildungsministerin erklärt. Somit hat sich diese Petition erfolgreich erledigt.

Materielle Prüfung

Das Verwaltungsgericht führt nicht nur eine formelle Prüfung des Verfahrens, sondern auch eine materielle, also inhaltliche, Überprüfung durch. Obschon die Gerichte in bisherigen Fällen den Ermessensspielraum universitärer Gremien im allgemeinen anerkannt haben, ist jeder Fall individuell. Möglicherweise wird sich herausstellen, dass Frau Schavan ihren Titel behalten kann. Deswegen hoffe ich doch, dass sie solange noch fest im Sattel des Bildungsministeriums sitzt.

Promotion Verschiedene Promotionsordnungen

Wenn 3 von 15 Personen (20 % !!) heute nach reifl.Prüfung NICHT für den Entzug des Dr-Titels stimmen, dann muss man sich Gedanken machen.. Jedes Fach an jeder Uni hat versch. Promotionsordnungen. Es gibt Unis, da reicht das Einreichen einer einzelnen als Erstautor veröffentlichten Publikation OHNE separates Anfertigen einer Dissertationsschrift. Also Dr. und der kann nicht geprüft werden, da es nichts ausser einem Artikel gibt.

Überprüfung 100 Arbeiten

Ein Promotionsausschuss hat diese Arbeit vor über 30 Jahren als sehr gut benotet. Eine Arbeit zu einer Zeit zu der man jede Seite mit Schreibmaschine neu tippen musste, wenn man etwas ergänzen/verbessern wollte. Mein Vorschlag: Ziehen wir aus den Jahren 1978-1982 jeweils 100 Dissertationen aus dem selben Fach und prüfen diese nach den bei Frau Dr. Schavan angewandten Kriterien. Wieviele Dissertationen haben danach noch Bestand? Oder muss man den Standard von damals als solchen anerkennen?

Dr. Schäuble

Dr. Schäuble hatte einen Koffer voller Schwarzgeld und ist doch trotzdem noch Finanzminister. Da kann Frau Schavan auch ruhig die Wissenschaft repräsentieren.

Rechtsstaat

Es ist noch keine rechtskräftige Entscheidung gefallen, da brüllt der akademische Stand nach dem Kopf der Ministerin. Wir leben in einem Rechtsstaat und sollten Abstand davon nehmen, vorschnell Konsequenzen zu fordern. In einigen Monaten wird die Verwaltungsgerichtsbarkeit die Causa 'Schavan' hoffentlich erledigt haben. Danach können Köpfe rollen - oder jede die solches Fordern Schamesrot anlaufen!
