Überflutung

Bei einer Wiedervernässung würden auch angrenzende Wohngebiete und Äcker irgendwann unter Wasser stehen und Keller feucht oder sogar unbrauchbar werden. Außerdem würden Straßen und Wege absacken. Da wir eh schon in einem von Hochwasser gefährdeten Gebiet leben, sollte dieses Risiko nicht durch eine Vernässung der Conventer Niederung begünstigt werden.
