mehr Sicherheit und Bewegungsfreiheit im Ortszentrum

Im Ortszentrum Hauingen, d.h. etwa zwischen Einmündung Brunngärtli und Einmündung Lingertstraße, sind vergleichsweise viele Fußgänger unterwegs, u.a. auf dem Schulweg, auch Besucher der Läden und Restaurants (Straßencafe in Hauingen!). Zur Verbesserung der Sicherheit und der Qualität des Aufenthalts im Ortszentrum wäre Tempo 30 eine deutliche Verbesserung.

Flächendeckende Tempo 30 unangemessen

Es wird Tempo 30 für die gesamte Ortsdurchfahrt gefordert, also auch weit außerhalb des Zentrums, etwa Unterdorfstraße bis Haagen. Dort sind nur wenige Fußgänger unterwegs, der Verkehrsweg ist übersichtlich. Die äussere Unterdorf- und Steinenstraße sind wichtig für Privatautos, Lieferverkehr und Busse. Tempo 30 wäre dort unangemessen. Auch zeigen die Blitzer in Lörrach, daß vornehmlich da kontrolliert wird, wo die Fahrer nicht mit Tempo 30 rechnen und somit höhere Gebühren erzielt werden können (s. Brombach). Kontrollen sind gut, aber nur dann, wenn sie auch der Sicherheit dienen.
