Round about 15.000 wild cats are living in the underground of Dortmund. They lives not direct visible with not enough food bad healthy and with a very short live. Every year our cat protection team collect round about 1000 cats to castrate and help by a doctor. But a lot of cats with a big uncontrolled population are on the streets. If we became help from the politic it will be helpful to reduce and controle the population.

A first discussion was at town hall on 2018/07/10. Some of our cat protection team hear a lot of open question from the politic. Our target with this petition is to show that a lot of people will help and support to have a rule for castrate, mark and register all cats going out of the house.

CATS CASTRATION DUTY COMES ALSO IN DORTMUND

WE MADE IT ! THE APPLICATION FOR A CASTRATION AND MARKING OBLIGATION IN DORTMUND WAS TAKEN ON 25.09.2018 IN THE EXCLUSION OF PUBLIC ORDER (...)

One day before, we were able to hand over our signature collection with 4,923 votes from the petition to the director of the public order office (Ms. Siekmann). Our thanks go to every individual who supported us. We are proud, happy and relieved at the same time.

However, the joy is a little clouded by the fact that we now additionally - in addition to all data already submitted - a significant data collection in the next 12 months must make. This is a prerequisite for the introduction of the legally compliant regulation.
