Immer mehr deutsche Creator*innen werden auf Instagram gesperrt, shadowgebannt oder gelöscht – obwohl ihre Inhalte völlig legal sind. Besonders betroffen sind Accounts, die sich mit Cannabis-Aufklärung, alternativer Medizin, Sexualität oder Gesellschaftskritik beschäftigen. Während vergleichbare Inhalte aus den USA problemlos online bleiben, werden deutsche Nutzer*innen systematisch unterdrückt. Die Inhalte werden gelöscht, Reichweite wird eingeschränkt, Einsprüche ignoriert.
👉 Wir fordern Instagram/Meta auf:

• Transparente Moderationsrichtlinien für EU-Nutzer
• Keine automatische Diskriminierung deutscher Inhalte
• Klare Einspruchsverfahren
• Gleichbehandlung gegenüber US-Creatorn

More and more German creators are getting suspended, shadowbanned, or deleted on Instagram – even when their content is fully legal under national law.
Topics like cannabis education, natural medicine, sexuality, or social criticism are flagged or removed, while similar content from U.S. users remains untouched.
This is not content moderation. This is discrimination.
👉 We demand that Instagram/Meta:

• Apply transparent moderation rules for EU creators
• Stop automatic censorship of German-based content
• Offer real, fair appeals processes
• End the double standard favoring U.S.-based users
