Zugegebenermaßen sind die Bauvorschriften und die energetischen Auflagen oft überzogen und stellen ein Hindernis für den Wohnungsbau dar. Kleingärten sollen aber der Erholung dienen. Wenn man Gartenlauben für Wohnzwecke freigibt, hebelt man die zurecht bestehenden Anforderungen an Brandschutz, Statik, Geologie, Energieeffizienz usw. aus. Gartenkolonien sind zudem meist nicht ausreichend erschlossen. Bauland 10-100 mal teurer. Hinzu käme der Konflikt zwischen Erholungssuchenden und Dauerwohnern. Wenn man diese Flächen anders nutzen will, muss erst der Bebauungsplan geändert werden.
