🔹 Signalwirkung. Die Einrichtung einer solchen Stelle wäre ein klares Bekenntnis des Freistaats Bayern zur Umsetzung der UN-Kinderrechtskonvention und zur Bedeutung von Kinderrechten als gelebte Realität – nicht nur als Verfassungsziel.

🔹 Stärkung von Beteiligung und Prävention. Eine Kinderrechtsbeauftragte bzw. ein Kinderrechtsbeauftragter kann Beteiligungsprozesse fördern, Kinder und Jugendliche stärken und damit langfristig auch Konflikte, Ausgrenzung oder Gewalt vorbeugen.

Kinderrechtsbeauftragte sollten in allen Bundesländer sein

🔹 Andere Bundesländer sind bereits weiter. In Brandenburg, Thüringen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern und NRW existieren Kinderrechtsbeauftragte, die erfolgreich als Vermittler*innen zwischen Politik, Verwaltung und Gesellschaft wirken. Bayern sollte hier nicht länger zurückstehen.

unabhängige Anlaufstelle

Es fehlt eine zentrale, unabhängige Anlaufstelle. Kinder, Familien und Fachkräfte haben derzeit keine bayernweite Stelle, die Beschwerden, Anliegen oder Missstände systematisch aufgreift und öffentlich sichtbar macht.

Warum Bayern einen Kinderrechtsbeauftragten braucht: 🔹 Kinderrechte sind Grundrechte. Sie sind seit 2019 in der Bayerischen Verfassung verankert, werden aber in der Praxis oft unzureichend berücksichtigt. Eine unabhängige Kinderrechtsbeauftragte oder ein Kinderrechtsbeauftragter kann sicherstellen, dass diese Rechte in allen politischen und gesellschaftlichen Entscheidungen beachtet werden.
