Blutbanken sind die reichsten Banken der Welt. Des weiteren kann Volumenersatz ohne Blut oder Blutplasma erfolgen. Verschiedene Flüssigkeiten sind wirkungsvolle Volumenexpander. Die einfachste ist Kochsalzlösung. Des weiteren werde tatsächlich regelmäßig durch Transfusion Krankheiten übertragen, da das Testen auf sämtliche Krankheiten zu teuer ist. Also geht es in erster Linie nur um Geld und nicht die Gesundheit.
