Grundschule Appeldorn

Es ist sicher, dass nach den jetzt vorliegenden Gründschülerzahlen für alle drei Kalkarer Grundschulen genügend Schüler vorhanden mindestens bis 2020 vorhanden sind. In Appeldorn ist im letzten Jahrzehnt viel investiert worden: vier neue, moderne und freundliche Klassenräume wurden in einem separaten Anbau neu errichtet und reichen für die derzeitige Schülerzahl vollkommen aus. 2012 erhielt der Altbau noch ein komplett neues Dach für 200.000 €, so dass also in den nächsten Jahren keine zwingend notwendigen Groß-Investitionen anfalllen. Warum sollte man die neuen Klassenräume nun abreißen?

Streichen!

Weil es sich sie Appeldorner zu einfach machen, in spätestens zwei Jahren gibt es eben nicht mehr genug Kinder, um die Schule zu erhalten. Und leider ist es so, dass aus wirtschaftlichen Gründen mindestens eine der drei Kalkarer Grundschulen wegfallen muß. Nur weil es früher so schön idyllisch auf dem Dorf war - wider jede Vernunft jede Schule erhalten? Wird nicht funktionieren.
