Wald versus Windkraft

Die zitierte EU-Quelle zur Entwaldung wird hier irreführend genutzt. Zwar setzt Abholzung CO₂ frei, daraus pauschal eine Klimaschädlichkeit von Windkraft im Wald abzuleiten, verdreht die Tatsachen. Laut Umweltbundesamt spart Windenergie im Wald über ihren Lebenszyklus deutlich mehr CO₂ ein, als durch die Rodung der benötigten Fläche verloren geht. Die Klimabilanz ist klar positiv.

Wenn wir so anfangen, kommen wir nicht weit: jeder will Klimaschutz, aber bitte keine Windräder in der Nähe. Der Strom kommt nunmal nicht einfach aus der Steckdose.
