Natur- und Familieninsel

Wangerooge sollte keine Insel mit Massentourismus werden, da sie sonst ihren unverwechselbaren, individuellen und familiären Charakter verliert. Die Natur ist doch der Hauptgrund für einen Urlaub dort (s. Umfragen 2011). Und sicher ist ein Kompromiss möglich!!!

Insel-Ausverkauf

Schuldenabbau ? Pustekuchen! Attraktivitätssteigerung? Geschmackssache, siehe neuer Servicebereich. Baustellen ? Unzählige über Jahre hinweg: Promenade,Polizeiwiese,Feuerwehrhaus neu und alt,alte Grundschule, Westanleger, Bau-Ruine neben Fisch-Kruse und, und, und...Zuletzt noch die notwendige Deicherhöhung ? Arme , kleine Insel, das hast du nicht verdient.

Populismus

Die Ziele,die sich hinter der Bürgerinitiative stecken sind der reine Populismus. Das sieht man an dem Ziel mehr Eigentumsohnungen (unter dem Anspruch gleiches Recht für Alle). Aber auch die Befürwortung einer Zwangs-Zusammenlegung von Wangerland und Wangerooge ist nur Effekthascherei.

Defizit

Wangerooge brauch mehr Gäste um die hohen Kosten für den Unterhalt der Insel bezahlen zu können. Momentan liegt das Defizit bei ca. 2000.-Euro pro Insulaner-Haushalt (jährlich). Das sind griechische Verhältnisse.

Gäste nicht verprellen

Wangerooge ist eines der schönsten Flecken auf dieser Welt. Man sollte schauen dass es erhalten bleibt und nicht durch den Aufbau von Horror-Szenarien "schlecht reden". Das verprellt unsere Gäste auf der Insel, und so hat man dann sich selbst erfüllende Prophezeihungen.

Insulaner

Wir Insulaner brauchen mehr Gäste, ansonsten können wir den Unterhalt der Insel nicht finanzieren. Schon jetzt ist Saison sehr kurz, ausserhalb der Saison haben wir keine Chance etwas zu verdienen, da wir alle vom Tourismus leben.

Wir platzen.

Sie sagen es selbst, wir platzen aus allen Nähten. Lösung: die Qualität der Unterkünfte erhöhen und somit die Nachfrage etwas ruinieren. So bleibt auch mehr für die Insel.

Investition Rückstand

Wenn ich mir so die Mehrzahl der Wohnungen und Pensionen ansehe, kann ich mir schon vorstellen, wer da gegen etwas Neues auf der Insel ist! Investiert endlich mal in eure alten Wohnungen und Pensionen, dann braucht Ihr auch keine Angst zu haben, das die dann leer bleiben, wenn die Gäste mehr Auswahl hätten!
