Für die Bildungsaktivitäten der Daetz-Stiftung inklusive dem Daetz-Centrum als außerschulischen Lernort wurde der Einrichtung vor wenigen Wochen noch der Europäische Kulturmarken-Award 2017 im Bereich Bildung verliehen. Auch das spricht für sich!

Die Schließung ist völlig mir völlig unverständlich. Leider ist es gängige Praxis in der deutschen Politik geworden, finanziellen Schwierigkeiten zuerst mit kulturellen Einschnitten zu begegnen. Wo soll das hinführen? Lichtenstein wird eine tote Stadt!!! Das Daetz Zentrum ist wichtig. Sogar für den Bekanntheitsgrad UNSERER REGION. Unser gesamter Bekanntenkreis , aus fern und nah, beglückwünscht uns zu dieser kulturellen Perle.

wenn es sich aber nicht trägt

Ganz so einfach ist es wohl nicht. Die Ausstellungsfläche soll verkleinert werden. Die Bildhauerworkshops und wohl auch das "Lichtensteiner Modell" werden wohl schon zum Erhalt der Förderwürdigkeit weitergehen.
