Bäume, Bäume Bäume

Da sind ja viele tolle Argumente dabei, die - global berücksichtigt - viel erreichen können. Was mir fehlt ist folgende kurzfristige, leicht umsetzbare Maßnahme, die schon die ETH Zürich vor kurzem als am wirkungsvollsten herausgestellt hat: Baumpflanzungen in der Fläche, an Straßen, an allen Stellen, an denen Schatten das Aufheizen der Stadt verhindern kann. Zusätzlich Sukzessionsflächen ausweisen, auf denen sich eine an Trockenheit angepasste Vegetation entwickeln kann. Aufhören die Stadt zu immer mehr Wachstum zu bringen.

Änderung Zielsetzung Lösungsansätze

Zu Punkt 2 der Petition Netto-Null Emission bis 2035 ist ein Ziel was anspruchsvoll ist und daher hohe Investitionen voraussetzt. Zurzeit wird dieses Ziel dadurch angestrebt CO2 Energieformen zu subventionieren, welche nicht die wirtschaftlichste Lösung ist, hauptsächlich langfristig gesehen. Mir fehlt in der Petition der Ansatz höhere Investitionen in die Forschung und Entwicklung, neuer Technologien in dem Bereich Energie, zu fordern. Maßnahme welche langfristig gesehen die wirtschaftlichere und nachhaltigere Lösung rund um das Thema Umwelt ist.
