Es geht nicht mehr um Klimawandel oder Klimakrise, sondern wir haben es mit einem Notfall zu tun. 2019 warnten 11.000 Wissenschaftler vom Klimanotfall. „ Aus den vorliegenden Daten wird klar, dass wir einem Klimanotfall gegenüberstehen. Thomas Newsome, University of Sydney“. Und der Notfall erfordert die sofortige Neubewertung aller Maßnahmen, welche Klima und Folgen der Klimaänderungen (Hitze, Trockenheit) betreffen. Die Gesundheit der Stadtbevölkerung steht auf dem Spiel.

Vorteile

Das Knoblauchsland bleibt zu 99% erhalten trotz der Bebauungsplans. Es ist nur ein kleiner Teil. Dafür entsteht soziale Infrastruktur, es wird Durchgangsverkehr reduziert und das Viertel wächst zusammen. Das ist eine faire Abwägung.

Es wird neuer Wohnraum benötigt

Aus meiner Sicht ist eine Füllung der Lücken entlang bestehender Verkehrswege bis auf Höhe Buch nur Folgerichtig. Es wird dringend neuer Wohnraum benötigt. Die Mieten steigen rasant und viele Leute wie ich müssen teilweise lange Wege aus dem Umland in Kauf nehmen. Dies wird in der Petition nicht erwähnt.
