Die britische Online-Zeitung Dailymail berichtete, dass Mobilfunk-Unternehmen ihre Aktionäre bzgl. gesundheitlicher Probleme warnen, nicht aber die Kunden. So habe z. B. Nokia behauptet, es sei in einer Untersuchung nachgewiesen worden, dass das Krebsrisiko durch elektromagnetische Wellen erhöht werden könne.
