Schutz von Radfahrern in Sachsen

Unser Sohn ist auf einem Radweg in Meissen von einem LKW erfaßt und schwer verletzt worden. Es verunglücken täglich Radfahrer in ganz Sachsen. Sachsen ist ein Autoland. Aus Unfällen werden keine ausreichenden Konsequenzen gezogen. Für den Schutz aller Radfahrer und die Verbesserung des gesamten Radwegenetzes vor allem an stark befahrenen Strassen sollte diese Petition stehen.

Geht uns alle an !

Das Amtsversagen der Verantwortlichen ist schon schlimm genug. Aber es beruht auch auf einem Phänomen, welches wir alle als Autofahrer aus dem täglichen Erleben kennen: Gleichgültigkeit und das Gefühl, umgeben von einer Tonne Blech die Rechte des Stärkeren zu haben. Wie trügerisch, denn es könnte auch unsere Kinder treffen. Und eine Tonne Blech ist nichts gegen eine Schuld, die wir ein ganzes Leben tragen würden. Für die Sicherheit aller Verkehrsteilnehmer -auch der Autofahrer- sind Radwege essentiell. Nebenbei auch für die Erreichung der Klimaziele...
