Es lohnt sich die vielen Kommentare durchzulesen. Die Unterstützerinnen und Unterstützer machen deutlich, warum sie auf den RE 70 in Mörfelden angewiesen sind. Darunter viele Pendlerinnen und Pendler, die ebenfalls aus der Umgebung betroffen sind. Die S7 wird diese Nachfrage nicht decken können, sie ist unzuverlässig und fährt nicht bis nach Mannheim.

Falsche Adressat*in

Diese Petition ist offensichtlich an die falsche Adresse gerichtet, denn die DB InfraGO ist als EIU für die Infrastruktur zuständig, also stark vereinfacht gesagt für Schienen, Bahnsteige, Weichen, Signale usw. Entweder sollte diese an den Besteller (d.h. das Land Hessen bzw. dessen dafür zuständige Gesellschaft o.ä) gerichtet werden oder eventuell auch an das betreffende EVU, also das Unternehmen, welches die Züge fährt.

Der Halt in Mörfelden wird doch bereits von der S7 bedient. Insofern verkehrt im Halbstundentakt eine Verbindung nach Frankfurt. Damit der RE70 für Fahrgäste, die einen weiteren Weg ohne S-Bahn-Verbindung haben attraktiv bleibt, kann ich die Entscheidung durchaus nachvollziehen.

RE70 überfüllt und unzuverlässig

Als Einwohner von Mörfelden benutze ich für Fahrten nach Frankfurt und zurück viel lieber die S7 als den oft überfüllten und keineswegs zuverlässigeren RE70.
