Betonradweg

Eine Sanierung bedeutet nicht Reparatur. Eine gute Alternative zu Asphalt wäre vorort gegeossener Beton. Zitat: "Für selbständig geführte Radwege, z.B. im ländlichen Raum, ist Ortbeton – z.B. in Gleitschalungsbauweise – ein bewährter und wirtschaftlicher Baustoff. Die mit diesem Einbauverfahren hergestellten Radwege erfüllen deren Wunsch der Fahrradfahrer nach hohem Fahrkomfort durch eine möglichst ebene Oberfläche mit geringem Rollwiderstand." Zitat Ende Die Oberfläche müsste erhöht werden, damit Bäume weiter wurzeln können, man will ja keine Bäume opfern

Ich würde lieber ne Verlängerung nach Nideggen sehen, als Geld rauszuschmeißen, für ne Sanierung, die aufgrund der Bäume in 5 Jahren fürn Po war.Mal abgesehen davon, fahrt doch einfach die Rur lang

Radstreifen

Radfahrer werden von Autos geblendet, weil der Radweg tiefer liegt als die Fahrbahn. Radstreifen sind die bessere Alternative.

Wurzelaufbrüche

Am stärksten zerstört ist der Radweg in Höhe der Bäume. Diese wurden ohne tiefe Kantsteine gepflanzt, so dass die flachen Wurzeln den Asphalt anheben. Sanierung ist unsinnig, solange dieser Fehler auch bei Neupflanzungen ständig & auch entlang anderer Radwege wiederholt wird.

Rur-Uferweg

Rur-Uferweg ist eine attraktive Alternative, die eher verbessert werden sollte - auch auf sanierten Radweg macht das Fahren entlang der schnell befahrenen L 249 keinen Spaß.
