26 Kinder im Vor- und Grund­schul­alter ertranken im Jahr 2018

Mindestens 504 Menschen kamen 2018 in Deutschland bei Bade­unfällen ums Leben, wie die Deutsche Lebens-Rettungs-Gesellschaft (DLRG) Anfang des Jahres vermeldete. Unter den 71 Todes­opfern der Alters­gruppe bis 20 Jahre waren 26 Kinder im Vor- und Grund­schul­alter. Die Zahl der ertrunkenen Kinder und Jugendlichen stieg 2018 dabei im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um insgesamt 38 Prozent.
