regional denken

Viele Bewohner*innen der umliegenden Gemeinden, auch aus Heddesheim, arbeiten in Mannheim, nutzen kulturelle Angebote, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Infrastruktur. Die Gewerbe- und Industriegebiete, die viele dieser Arbeitsplätze bieten und das Umspannwerk benötigen, liegen auf Mannheimer Gemarkung, der Berufsverkehr belastet die Stadtbewohner*innen mit Lärm und Abgasen, Kulturangebote werden von der Stadt hoch subventioniert. Da ist es nur fair, wenn auch das Umland an den Lasten beteiligt wird.
