Warum nutzt die Schule nicht vorhandene Strukturen wie zb. das alte Bekleidungswerk in der Hospital Straße? Dort passten schon mal über 2.000 Menschen rein und dort muß nichts abgeholzt werden.

Wo man auch immer sich im Eichsfeld umsieht sterben Bäume. Die Wälder sind lichte geworden. Ich kann nicht glauben, das eine Schule die öffentlich so viel Wert auf Respekt und Schutz für Mensch und Natur legt, ein gesundes Stück Wald opfert um den Standort zu halten. Sicher gibt es in Heiligenstadt noch andere Möglichkeiten. Gerade als Christen soll uns das Bewahren der Schöpfung ein großes Anliegen sein.

Forsteinrichtungswerk

Wir kämpfe seit Jahren darum, zum Beispiel die Hanglagen im Stadtwald aus der Bewirtschaftung zu nehmen und hoffen, dies im Forsteinrichtungswerk für die kommenden zehn Jahre zu verankern. Weitere Dinge zur Stärkung des Naturschutz und Erholungswertes des Waldes haben wir ebenso gemeinsam auf den Weg gebracht. Leider hat sich hierfür kaum ein Bürger interessiert - obwohl er die 2000ha Stadtwald betrifft und weit mehr schützt, also hier eventuell zur Rede steht.
