Beide Eltern berufstätig

Sobald beide Eltern berufstätig sind reicht der Urlaub schon nicht einmal zum Abdecken aller Ferientage, erst Recht nicht wenn ein gemeinsamer Urlaub gemacht wird.

Was ist mit 10-14-Jährigen?

Ich finde, die Petition greift zu kurz. Kitas haben - zumindest war das bei uns so - 3 Wochen im Sommer, über Weihnachten und einige - ich nenne es mal so -"Sondertage" geschlossen. Die übrigen Ferien sind die Kitas geöffnet. Das ist machbar, für Alleinerziehende schwierig, aber machbar. In der Grundschule wird es schwieriger, wenn man keinen Hortplatz hat. Das ist definitiv so. Ab der 5. Klasse ist es gar nicht mehr zu schaffen. Auch ein 10-Jähriges Kind möchte ich nicht eine ganze Woche allein zu Hause lassen, weil es in den Herbstferien kaum Betreuungsangebote gibt.
