Guten Morgen!
An dieser Stelle nochmal ein ganz großes DANKE! an Euch alle!
Donnerstag habe ich die Petition an zwei CDU-Politiker übergeben und noch einmal betont, wie wichtig die Schutzelemente für die Sicherheit der Radfahrenden sind.Über 2200 Stimmen sind zusammen gekommen, das ist wirklich ein tolles Signal!
Außerdem fand parallel vor dem Rathaus eine Kundgebung FÜR die Protected Bikelane statt, zu der trotz der Mittagszeit einige Menschen zusammengekommen sind. Auch hier haben sich noch einmal viele für sicheren Radverkehr ausgesprochen und ein Zeichen gesetzt.
Was ist nun also in der Stadtratssitzung passiert? - Erst einmal noch nicht so viel bezüglich dieses Themas. Der Antrag wurde aufgrund der voranschreitenden Zeit auf Montag vertagt. Wir bleiben also gespannt!
Montag kann die Sitzung wieder im Stadtrat-TV live übertragen angeschaut werden - oder ab 16 Uhr im Rathaus von der Zuschauertribüne aus. Ich schaue mal, dass ich es einrichten kann... (:

I’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU! to all of you!
On Thursday, I handed the petition to two CDU politicians and once again emphasized how important these safety features are for cyclists.
We’ve collected over 2,200 signatures—that’s a really great sign!
In addition, a rally in support of the protected bike lane took place outside City Hall at the same time, drawing a small crowd despite it being lunchtime. Here, too, many people once again spoke out in favor of safe cycling and made their voices heard.
So what actually happened at the city council meeting? – Not much yet regarding this issue. Due to time constraints, the motion was postponed until Monday. So we’ll have to wait and see!
On Monday, the meeting can again be watched live on City Council TV—or starting at 4 p.m. in the town hall from the public gallery. I’ll see if I can make it work... (:

Petition in Zeichnung - Update und Aufruf zur Kundgebung

Hallo Ihr Alle.
Wir sind mehr als 2000! Das freut mich sehr und gibt mir Energie!Morgen ab 13 Uhr wird eine Kundgebung vorm Rathaus stattfinden. Kommt zahlreich und lässt uns unseren gewählten Vertreterinnen und Vertretern zeigen, dass wir die Bikelane erhalten wollen!
Die Antragstellenden werde ich nochmal konkret dazu einladen, auch für die Übergabe der Petition. Bisher habe ich leider keinerlei Rückmeldung der CDU/FDP-Stadtratsfraktion auf meine Mail bekommen - ich halte euch natürlich über Reaktionen auf dem Laufenden.
Lasst uns heute und morgen nochmal Laut sein, Mitzeichnende gewinnen und dem Stadtrat zeigen, dass uns allen Verkehrssicherheit wichtig ist!

I’ll be sending a specific invitation to the CDU/FDP city counsel caucus, also for the handover of the petition. So far, unfortunately, I haven’t received any response to my email— I'll keep you updated on any reactions.
