Schon ästhetisch war es eine Schnapsidee den Neumarkt durch einen massiven Bauklotz einzuengen. Nicht nur Ortfremde geraten in Stress, wenn sie am Neumarkt umsteigen wollen und den Weg zum richtigen Bussteig nicht finden. "Irrfahrten im (fast)Kreis würden das Problem auf die Spitze treiben und die Fahrzeiten unnötig verlängern. Dies zusätzlich zu allen bereits genannten Argumenten.

"Neumarktfrieden" wird es erst dann geben, wenn der Neumarkt als kompletter Busknotenpunkt erhalten bleibt.

Notwendige Veränderung

Mir gefällt die Idee mit der Johannisfreiheit auch nicht. Allerdings muss der Zustand des Neumarktsund der vorderen Johannesstraße dringend verändert werden, von daher halte ich den vorgeschlagenen Weg für das kleinere Übel. Wir brauchen an der Stelle einfach zwingend eine Veränderung und kein Stillstand.
