Unser Freibad ist im Sommer das Zentrum in Ammerbuch; wo sonst gibt es soviele soziale Kontakte? Wo sollen die Kinder Schwimmen lernen? Wo ist sonst der Treffpunkt für jung und alt? Das Freibad ist durch nichts zu ersetzen! Es gibt mit Sicherheit andere Einsparmöglichkeiten, die weniger Einfluß auf die Lebensqualität der Bürger haben.

Folgende Gründe sprechen für eine Kürzung: - Eine Gemeinde braucht Aufmerksamkeit. - Zukünftige Politikverdrossenheit möchte durch mangelndes Mitspracherecht verstärkt werden. - Das Schließen von Hallenbädern ist gerade in Mode gekommen. - Häufig wird da gekürzt, wo 'diverse' Unternehmen keinen finanziellen Mehrwert haben und da wo Kinder und Jugendliche sich einigermaßen handyfrei sinnvoll beschäftigen können. Also: Man spart bei zukünftigen Generationen und schimpft dann über sie ...
