Viele Menschen denken, sie würden immer noch in den Aufbau Ost zahlen. Doch mit Solidarität mit dem Osten hat hat der Zuschlang eher wenig zu tun. Er fließt direkt in den Bundeshaushalt und der Finanzminister kann das Geld für ALLE anfallenden Kosten in Ost und West verwenden. Außderem ist der Soli kein Zuschlag im eigentlichen Sinne, sondern eine Steuer und somit nicht zweckgebunden, sondern frei verwendbar. Große Anteile des Soli fließen heute in Bildung und Infrastruktur in Ost und West gleichermaßen. Gegenargumente laufen also gleich doppelt ins Leere!
