Die Unwandlung von Mietshäusern in Eigentumswohnungen verstärkt Verdrängung und sozialen Unfrieden. Eine Sperrfrist schützt Mieter zumindest eine Zeitlang. In Berlin ist das bereits Praxis.

Teilung ist keine Unwandlung

Ein Haus zu bauen, liegt in der Natur des Menschen, Miete zahlen nicht. Es gibt keine "Umwandlung": Bei der Bildung von Wohneigentum wird ein Eigentum in mehrere Einheiten geteilt; nichts wird umgewandelt: Mietwohnungen bleiben Mietwohnungen. Mieter haben bis zu 10 Jahren Kündigungsschutz, sodass Eigenbedarf nicht greift. Verbote bauen keine Wohnungen. Es braucht mehr Wohnraum, um die Wohnungsnot zu beenden, nicht mehr Regulierung. Eigentum beendet die lebenslange Abhängigkeit von der Miete!
