Aus einem insgesamt wasserstoffkritischen Beitrag des Merkur geht hervor, dass BMW gemeinsam mit Toyota weiterhin an Brennstoffzellenfahrzeugen festhält. BMW betont darin, dass eine einzige Technologie nicht ausreichen werde. um klimaneutrale Mobilität weltweit zu ermöglichen". Dies unterstreicht die Bedeutung von Technologievielfalt - und stellt den vorzeitigen Rückbau bestehender Infrastruktur in einen politischen Widerspruch.

auf lange Sicht ist ein Ladesäulen-Netz jedoch kostenintensiver ist als Wasserstofftankstellen. Sowie den Strommix in Deutschland der ein Wirkungsgrad von 45-50% hat. Ein H2 Fzg. benutzt die Abwärme für die Innenheizung.

In einem Interview mit auto motor und sport (31.12.2025) bekräftigte BMW-Entwicklungsvorstand Joachim Post, dass BMW 2028 ein Serienmodell mit Brennstoffzellentechnologie bringen will. Die Brennstoffzelle entwickelt BMW dabei in Kooperation mit Toyota - ein Hinweis, dass mehrere Hersteller dieses Feld weiterverfolgen. Umso wichtiger ist ein verlässliches Mindestnetz in der Übergangsphase bis 2030.

Im ganzen Jahr 2025 bis einschließlich November sind in ganz Deutschland gerade mal 49 Brennstoffzellen PKW neu zugelassen worden, mehr als 69% weniger als 2024, 94% weniger als 2022 Sehr es doch endlich ein, Wasserstoff im Landgestützen Verkehr ist ein totes Pferd, hat gegen den technisch in allen Belangen besseren Batterieelektrischen-Antrieb keine Chance. Physik ist nun mal keine Glaubensfrage.

Der Sachverständigenrat (SVR) der Wirtschaftsweisen in Deutschland spricht sich in einer Erklärung für batterieelektrische Lkw und den Aufbau der notwendigen Ladeinfrastruktur aus. Die WirtschaftsWoche, der das Papier im Voraus vorlag, hat am Donnerstag darüber berichtet, dass der SVR am Freitag die Politik auffordern wollte, staatliche Fördermittel vorrangig in Elektro-Lkw zu investieren und Alternativen wie Wasserstoff oder E-Fuels nicht mehr weiter zu fördern.
