Die Stadt Ditzingen hat im Lärmaktionsplan 2013 die Umsetzung dieser Maßnahme, zusammen mit Flüsteralphalt für die nächsten 5 Jahren geplant (Abschn. 3.2). Reines Verbesserungsargument zählt nicht.

Die Anordnung von Tempo 30-Zonen ist gemäß § 45 Absatz 1c StVO nur auf Straßen zulässig, die keine Bundes-, Landes-, Kreis- oder andere Hauptverkehrsstraßen (Zeichen 306 StVO) sind. Die Höfinger Straße in Ditzingen ist eine Kreisstraße. Die Anordnung einer Tempo-30-Zone ist deshalb unzulässig. Die Anordnung streckenbezogener Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkungen ist nur unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen zulässig, vgl. § 45 Absatz 9 StVO. Reine Verbesserungsargumente zählen nicht, sonst könnte man überall ein vollständiges Verkehrsverbot begründen. Eine besondere Gefahrenlage ist erforderlich.
