Generalwildwegeplan führt durch das betroffene Waldgebiet

Baden-Württemberg hat einen Generalwildwegeplan aufgestellt, um die Vernetzung der Waldlebensräume der Wildtiere aufrechtzuerhalten. Die "Waldumwandlung", sprich Rodung und Installation eines Baugebiets, betrifft einen Wald, durch den ein Wildtierkorridor von nationaler Bedeutung führt. Dieser Korridor würde durch die geplante Umwandlung stark Wanderroute für Wildtiere zwischen den westlichen und östlichen Waldgebieten.
