Pflegepersonalbemessung im Krankenhaus – oder zur Beharrlichkeit der Normativität

Im folgenden Artikel werden die derzeitigen Entwicklungen sowie die Auswirkungen von
Personalveränderungen im Pflegebereich beschrieben, wie sie sich auf Basis aktuell vorliegender
Studienergebnisse in Deutschland darstellen. Darüber hinaus werden konzeptionelle
Hinweise zu einer Personalbemessung vorgestellt. Auf der Ebene der Konstruktion wird
zwischen empirischen und normativen Zugängen unterschieden und die jeweiligen Vorbzw.
Nachteile werden diskutiert. Abschließend werden Einschätzungen zur derzeitigen
Realisierung eines Personalbemessungsverfahrens gegeben und Schlussempfehlungen zur
Diskussion gestellt.

Calculating Nursing staff in hospital – or about the stability of norms
The following article describes the current developments as well as the consequences of a
changing in numbers of nursing staff based on the relevant study results available in Germany.
Moreover, indications applied to a staff calculation are presented. At the level of construction,
the difference between an empirical and a normative access is demonstrated and the
pros and cons are discussed. Finally, the author evaluates the realization of a staff calculation
method for the present and puts up recommending conclusions for discussion.
