Die Initiatorin der Petition, Frau Uta Sprenger, sollte deutlich formulieren, dass es hier um Wildbienen geht. Die Population der Honigbiene ist nicht gefährdet, im Gegenteil: die Anzahl (Honig)bienenvölker nimmt zu, weil sich auch immer mehr Privat-Imker diesem Hobby verschreiben. Die Wildbienen aber sind mir persönlich unbekannt - in freier Wildbahn habe ich sie noch nie beobachtet. Der allgemeine Artenschutz, gerade bei Insekten als Nahrungsgrundlage für viele höhere Lebewesen, ist im Interesse aller Menschen.

Konsequenzen

Als Landwirt habe ich 85% meiner Fläche für die Produktion gesperrt und Blühflächen angelegt. Jetzt sind natürlich die Produkte auf den Restflächen zB das Futter für die Tiere und damit das Endprodukt deutlich teurer. Ich bin in Vorleistung gegangen, jetzt seit ihr als Kunden dran.

Nur an Wiesen zu denken, löst das Problem nicht. Salweiden als Frühjahrstracht, alte Robinien und alte Linden werden immer häufiger beseitigt, z. T. sogar aus "Naturschutzgründen" (Robinie).

Ich bin gern Unterstützer solcher Petitionen. Aber was soll man mit so einer Petition anfangen? Es sind keinerlei Ziele definiert. Welche Maßnahmen sollen denn daraus abgeleitet werden und wie will man das Ergebnisse messbar machen? In Bayern wurden konkrete Maßnahmen genannt, hier nur mehr Grünflächen. Also einen Acker zur Grünfläche gemacht und Ziel erreicht? Da verschießt man nur Munition und ernst gemeinten Petitionen fehlt dann die Zustimmung nach dem Motto: “Nicht noch eine Bienenpetition”

Das Insektensterben betrifft vor allem die Wildbiene und die Insektenarten im allgemeinen. Das muss immer wieder herausgestellt werden. Die Artenvielfalt und damit das Ökosystem der Erde ist bedroht. Aber auch Imker haben zunehmend Probleme.
